Hiring a contractor shouldn't feel like a gamble.
Everyone has heard the stories: the price that doubled, the crew that vanished for two weeks, the calls that never got returned. So why choose us? Here's what's different when you work with Complete Design Industries, and where each promise comes from.
Why choose us: what homeowners get.
You know the price before we start
We walk the space, explain your options at different levels and put the scope and price in writing. "He gave us several options… as well as explained the different pricing involved."
Changes need your OK
If we open a wall and find a problem, you see it and get a price first. "He kept us informed of any extras ahead of time and waited until we accepted before moving forward."
We don't make you wait months
Customers have described an estimate on a Friday or weekend and the crew starting the following week. We'll give you a realistic start date at the walkthrough.
Finished when we said
Planning the order of work up front is what keeps a project on track. "He completed the work on time and answered all of my questions before, during, and after."
Every trade under one roof
Demo, framing, plumbing and electrical coordination, drywall, tile, flooring, trim and paint. One schedule and one phone number, from the first visit to the last walkthrough.
We call back the same day
"If he doesn't answer the phone right away, he definitely calls back before the end of the day… even on weekends."

BeforeAfterThe layers behind the tile.
A finished bathroom looks great on day one no matter who built it. What separates a good remodel from a bad one shows up years later: a shower that stays dry, a floor that doesn't crack, a wall that stays flat.
That's why we put so much attention into the stages you'll never see once the job is done, like waterproofing the shower as a complete system, leveling large-format tile, and fixing rot or bad plumbing while the walls are open instead of covering it up.
From a drywall patch to a whole house.
We take on repairs and single rooms with the same care as full renovations. One reviewer hired us for drywall repair and painting: "Excellent job… Professional and punctual! Would hire again!" Another trusted us with "a very extensive renovation."

For once, a person that not only does what they promise but goes above and beyond what is expected. A rare find in the world of construction.

How to compare contractors, including us.
Whoever you hire, a few checks protect you. Ask for the contractor's New Jersey HIC registration number and look it up with the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. Ask for a certificate of insurance. Get the estimate and contract in writing, with the scope of work spelled out, and agree on how changes will be handled before anything starts.
Then read reviews for patterns rather than single comments. Look for mentions of clear estimates, communication and finishing on time. The Better Business Bureau is another place to check a company's history. If you're still asking why choose us after all that, read our reviews and call (732) 759-0765; we're happy to answer anything.
Before you choose a contractor.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We're a registered New Jersey home improvement contractor, HIC #13VH09293400, and fully insured. You can read more on our licensing page.
Can one contractor really handle every part of my project?
Yes. Remodels often need demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, tile, flooring and paint. We handle the whole job so you have one schedule and one point of contact.
Do you take on small repairs too?
Yes. We do drywall repair, painting, tile repairs and property maintenance as well as full remodels.
