What's in a free estimate from us.
The walkthrough is where the plan starts. We look at the space with you, measure, and check for the things that change a project once the walls open: moisture, old plumbing, soft subfloors or framing that needs work. Then we talk through options at a few different levels so you can choose what fits.
Afterward you get a written estimate that spells out the scope, the materials and what's included. There's no charge and no obligation. If you move forward, the agreement is in writing too, which New Jersey's Division of Consumer Affairs requires for most home improvement contracts. Some projects also need permits from your town; the state's Division of Codes and Standards explains how construction permits work in New Jersey.
