Hardwood floor refinishing for New Jersey homes.
The floors under that worn finish are often in better shape than they look. Our hardwood floor refinishing NJ crew repairs damaged boards, sands down to fresh wood, stains it the color you want and seals it for years of use.

Hardwood floor refinishing NJ homeowners are often surprised by.
A lot of New Jersey homes are sitting on solid hardwood that's been hidden under carpet or worn gray by decades of foot traffic. Before you replace it, it's worth knowing that solid wood can usually be sanded and refinished, and the result often looks better than new flooring would.
We start by looking at what you have: how thick the wear layer is, whether there's water damage, pet stains or boards that need replacing, and how the floors connect between rooms. Damaged boards get cut out and woven in, then the floor is sanded down to clean wood.
From there it's your call on color, from a natural clear finish to a darker stain, followed by protective coats of finish. It's one of the fastest ways to change how a house feels, and it pairs well with fresh paint and trim if you're refreshing a few rooms at once.
The National Wood Flooring Association has good homeowner guidance on how many times a floor can be sanded, and EPA's guidance on VOCs and indoor air explains why we ventilate while finishes cure. For hardwood floor refinishing, NJ homes built in the 1950s and 60s often hide solid oak under old carpet.

Hardwood refinishing questions.
Can my hardwood floors be refinished?
Most solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished, sometimes several times over its life. Engineered floors depend on the thickness of the top layer. We'll check during the walkthrough.
Can you change the color of my floors?
Yes. Once the floor is sanded to bare wood, it can take a new stain. We test colors on your floor so you can see them first.
Can you fix water-damaged boards?
Usually. Damaged boards are cut out and replaced, then sanded and finished with the rest of the floor so the repair blends in.
Do you offer free hardwood refinishing estimates in Warren, NJ?
