Basement waterproofing that stops the water at the source.
Damp walls, a musty smell, a puddle every time it rains hard. For basement waterproofing, NJ homeowners call us to find where the water gets in, stop it, and turn the basement into space they actually use.

Basement waterproofing NJ: start with where the water comes from
Most wet basements in New Jersey aren't a mystery once you look closely. Water comes through foundation cracks, seeps where the wall meets the floor, comes in around window wells, or gets pushed in by soil that stays saturated after every storm. Gutters that dump next to the house and yards that slope the wrong way make all of it worse.
Our basement waterproofing work in Warren and across Somerset County starts with a walkthrough. We look at the walls and floor, check the outside grading and downspouts, and ask when the water shows up and how much. That tells us whether you need a crack repair, better drainage outside, an interior drain system, or a combination.
The goal isn't to paint over the problem. It's to give the water somewhere else to go, so the walls stay dry, the floor stays dry and the basement can be finished without worrying about the next heavy rain.
Planning basement waterproofing in a flood-prone part of the state? The NJDEP flood resilience program explains local flood risk, and the EPA’s guide to mold, moisture and your home covers why a basement that stays damp tends to become a mold problem. Our basement waterproofing NJ estimates are free, so you can get a plan before you decide.

From damp to dry, in the right order.
Every basement is different, so the fix changes. The order we work in doesn't.
Walk the basement and the yard
We look for active leaks, staining, efflorescence, cracks and how water moves around the outside of the house.
Name the real source
Hydrostatic pressure, surface water, a crack or a window well each need a different fix. We tell you which one it is.
Recommend the right fix
You get a clear written estimate that explains what we'd do inside, outside, or both, and why.
Give the water a path
Interior or exterior drainage, crack repair and moisture control, installed so water is carried away from the foundation.
Seal and finish the repair
Concrete patched, wall board installed where needed, and the area cleaned up so it's ready to use.
Finish the basement, if you want
Once it's dry, our remodeling crew can frame, drywall, floor and paint the space.
Waterproofing work we handle.
Some homes need one repair. Others need drainage, repairs and a rebuild. Our basement waterproofing NJ crew can do all of it without bringing in another contractor.
- Basement water intrusion and seepage after rain
- Foundation crack and leak repairs
- Interior and exterior French drains
- Moisture control and musty-odor problems
- Drainage problems around the house
- Sump pump drainage support
- Repairs to damaged drywall, trim and flooring
- Basement finishing once the space is dry
The repair is where it becomes an upgrade.
A dry basement is the extra room most New Jersey homes already have. After the waterproofing is done, we can turn it into a family room, office, gym or guest space.
Because our remodeling crew does the rebuild, you're not handing the job to a second company halfway through. The person who saw the damage is the person who puts the room back together, and if you've been wanting a better layout, new floors or a fresh color, this is the moment to do it.

Simple things that keep a basement dry.
Clean gutters
Clogged gutters overflow right at the foundation. Clean them in spring and after leaves drop.
Extend downspouts
Discharge water several feet from the house so it doesn't soak the soil against the wall.
Slope soil away
The ground next to the foundation should fall away from the house, not toward it.
Catch small signs early
White mineral lines, peeling paint and a musty smell often show up before standing water does.

Basement waterproofing FAQs
Do you offer free waterproofing estimates?
Yes. We come out, look at the basement and the outside of the house, and give you a free written estimate that explains the fix we recommend.
Do I need interior or exterior waterproofing?
It depends on where the water is coming from. Surface water problems are often fixed outside with grading and drainage. Water pushed up through the floor or the wall joint is usually handled with an interior drain system. We'll tell you which applies to your house.
Can you finish my basement after waterproofing it?
Yes. Our remodeling crew handles framing, drywall, flooring and painting, so the same company that dried the basement can finish it.
